A new set of features has been released on Edco! Users can now easily manage their contacts to make the outreach process more efficient.
Inputting your contacts is simpler and cleaner now too. Click the “Grow Your Network” button on the left hand menu of your Dashboard. You can select between three methods of inputting contacts; Name and email, Paste emails, and CSV Import. Importing contacts through a CSV file is a huge time saver if you are inputting a large number of contacts. Click on the CSV Import tab, choose the CSV file you wish to upload, and BOOM! Your contacts are uploaded and easily managed (see below for more on how easy it is to manage your contacts).
Alternatively, you can input contacts one at a time with their name and email. Start by selecting the team member the contacts you’re inputting are associated with from the drop down menu. Then input the names and email addresses of the team member’s contacts.
We’ve also given users another method – pasting emails. Again, you’re prompted to select a team member from the drop down menu that the contacts are associated with. You can then copy and past a list of emails separated by spaces, commas, semicolons, and/or line breaks.
In addition to making the contact input process easier than ever, you can now see, manage, and edit all of your contacts from a single place in your dashboard. By going to the “Your Contacts” tab on the left hand menu, you can see the list of team contacts. The team member that the contact is associated with is clearly visible and all the fields are editable with a single click. Removing a contact is just as easy if one of last year’s contacts is no longer relevant to your fundraising. Check out an example in the photo below.
